JEWISH WOMAN WEDS A NEW THOUGHT CHRISTIAN MAN BY A MUSLIM OFFICIAINT – wedding on Saturday, August 25, 2012

Dallas, Texas – Not only are two special people being joined together, so are two spiritual traditions, as well. Out of different spiritual paths, they have come together to learn the best of what each has to offer, appreciating their differences, and confirming their love. So this is not only a joyous occasion, but a holy one, as well. May they see that their love for each other is truly a gift from God. http://interfaithmarriages.blogspot.com/2012/08/jewish-woman-weds-new-thought-christian.html

Paul Marcel-Rene Wow, this union in this manner is so wrong so many ways, I don’t know where to start. First, no Christian should be unequally yoked to a non-believer of the Son of God Jesus. Second, no muslim has the authority to marry anyone in the sight of God as they do not worship the same God of the Universe as do Christians and Jews. God will not recognize the marriage and its union is fornication.

Paul, my friend, you did not ask questions to find what it is, instead you chose to pass judgments. Everyone on the earth can invoke God, it is the same God no matter what name you call it. The marriage is between two people with god as witness. God does not say different things to different people, we make that mistake.God is same, message is same – rituals differ.

Paul Marcel-Rene

What question shall I ask? I did not pass judgment, but rather simple stated fact as given in the article. You are correct, there is Only ONE God and His Son Jesus to whom all can invoke regardless of the name chosen. This does not make …See More

mike are you seriously going to debate with this guy?

Mike Ghouse

Paul, thanks for sharing your point of view.

For a political christian god is his private property, for a political muslim god is his to have, for a political Jew, god exclusively showers on him. However for a spiritual Christian, Jew, Muslim, Hindu or other God is indivisible and every one is a part of him, and he is a part of everyone.

We have a choice to bottle up Jesus, Moses, Muhammad, Krishna, Buddha, and other souls or let them belong to whole humanity, my choice is UN-chain them and have them belong to all. Since God is free from our nets, so are theses souls.

I’ll be happy to learn and share, provided we free god and these souls from our cells. I hope you see another point of view.

Fazal Shere

i am not sure whether there is a God or not but if there is he/she cannot be this sublime creator and yet ridiculously parochial…

Paul Marcel-Rene

Of course God is not parochial. Let me attempt to frame this in an example. A single man has children. Now, the children are his by most human standards (there are exceptions, but that is a different subject). Now lets say the neighbors on either side claim the children as their own. Does the father share the children? Do the children now belong to the neighbors as well since they claimed them? Let us give names to these people as example of course. Lets call the single father God of the Holy Bible. Lets call the neighbor to the left allah, who is has been trying to get God’s job as well. Lets call the neighbor to the right Vishnu. I maintain, with the creator God of all things, that the children (the whole human race) remain God’s (the Christian and Jewish God), and not the allah of islam, not vishnu of Hinduism, or of any other “neighbor” down the street.

Paul Marcel-Rene

Now, Mike Ghouse, let me address your comment. There is no distinction between any person in regards to the divine nature God has given each individual. But, the indwelling of the spirit of God, happens only from those who fully accept Him and His Son Jesus. Being “spiritual” is a man’s way of responding to the divine nature God gave all, but spirituality without full knowledge of God and His Holy Word found only in the Holy Bible, does not free mankind, but rather enslaves him to the limits of the human condition without the means to be given eternal life in paradise once he sheds this mortal coil.

As for “bottling up” the list of individuals, I will need first to explain that God intended only the Prophet of God Moses and the Son of God Jesus to be for all mankind. Though, acknowledge that Siddhārtha Gautama Buddha was a very wise man whose teachings were helpful at that time in that place. Krishna is an invention of man to explain that which they had no explanation and thus stands out in the list of individuals. And then mohammad, who founded a political system with a heavy religious bent from half remember Christian, Jewish, and local paganism who’s major tenet is denial of the Son of God Jesus.

2 Corinthians 6:14
Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

Love for Mankind

To answer your questions:  To love one another does not mean to allow another to be cast into everlasting darkness with out doing everything in my power to bring them to the only way to eternal life and salvation, and that is through Jesus, the Son of God. We love everyone and due to this love we must share that there is NO other way to paradise. All roads lead to damnation except through Jesus. Educating others on what is false, which is anything that denies the Son of God Jesus, is my duty to God. Failure to do everything within my ability to do this is failure to honor God. How can I not honor and obey God? You state that I post lies about islam, that I do not know islam because I am not an islamic muslim. I counter propose that I do know islam and that is why I am not an islamic muslim. If nothing else, I know and you will agree because this is 100% true, that islam denies the Son of God Jesus being divine and God in the flesh. This one fact, regardless of anything else islam is or is not makes it not of God. There is no grey areas in this. The allah of islam said not to claim Jesus as the Son of God in the qu’ran. Thus the allah of islam is not the One True God of the Holy Bible, and of Abraham, and all the prophets before the Son of God Jesus came. The islamic allah is not the Christian / Jewish God. And, God has told us all to tell everyone this, – Galatians 1:8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned! 2 Corinthians 11:15. Since Satan himself is capable of appearing to be an angel of light, it is not to be deemed strange that those who are in his service also should resemble him.

For Satan himself is transformed … – That is, he who is an apostate angel; who is malignant and wicked; who is the prince of evil, assumes the appearance of a holy angel. Paul assumes this as an indisputable and admitted truth, without attempting to prove it, and without referring to any particular instances. Probably he had in his eye cases where Satan put on false and delusive appearances for the purpose of deceiving, or where he assumed the appearance of great sanctity and reverence for the authority of God. Such instances occurred in the temptation of our first parents Genesis 3:1-6, and in the temptation of the Saviour, Matthew 4. The phrase “an angel of light,” means a pure and holy angel, light being the emblem of purity and holiness. Such are all the angels that dwell in heaven; and the idea is, that Satan assumes such a form as to appear to be such an angel. Learn here:

(1) His power. He can assume such an aspect as he pleases. He can dissemble and appear to be eminently pious. He is the prince of duplicity as well as of wickedness; and it is the consummation of bad power for an individual to be able to assume any character which he pleases.

(2) his art. he is long practiced in deceitful arts. For six thousand years he has been practicing the art of delusion. And with him it is perfect.

(3) we are not to sup pose that all that appears to be piety is piety. Some of the most plausible appearances of piety are assumed by Satan and his ministers. None ever professed a profounder regard for the authority of God than Satan did when he tempted the Saviour. And if the prince of wickedness can appear to be an angel of light, we are not to be surprised if those who have the blackest hearts appear to be people of most eminent piety.

(4) we should be on our guard. We should not listen to suggestions merely because they appear to come from a pious man, nor because they seem to be prompted by a regard to the will of God. We may be always sure that, if we are to be tempted, it will be by some one having a great appearance of virtue and religion.

(5) we are not to expect that Satan will appear to man to be as bad as he is. He never shows himself openly to be a spirit of pure wickedness; or black and abominable in his character; or full of evil and hateful. He would thus defeat himself. It is for this reason that wicked people do not believe that there is such a being as Satan. Though continually under his influence and “led captive by him at his will,” yet they neither see him nor the chains which lead them, nor are they willing to believe in the existence of the one or the other.

Where does Jesus say He is the Son of God

Where does Jesus say He is the Son of God?     Answer:    JESUS SAID, “I AM”

AND MOSES SAID UNTO GOD, BEHOLD, WHEN I COME UNTO THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL, AND SHALL SAY UNTO THEM, THE GOD OF YOUR FATHERS HATH SENT ME UNTO YOU; AND THEY SHALL SAY TO ME, WHAT IS HIS NAME? WHAT SHALL I SAY UNTO THEM?
AND GOD SAID UNTO MOSES, I AM THAT I AM: AND HE SAID, THUS SHALT THOU SAY UNTO THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL, I AM HATH SENT ME UNTO YOU-Ex 3:13,14.

Jesus said:

I AM-Mk 14:62.
I AM THE SON OF GOD-Jn 10:36.
I AM THE BREAD OF LIFE-Jn 6:35.
I AM THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD-Jn 8:12.
BEFORE ABRAHAM WAS, I AM-Jn 8:58.
I AM THE GOOD SHEPHERD-Jn 10:11.
I AM THE RESURRECTION, AND THE LIFE-Jn 11:25.
I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE-Jn 14:6.
I AM THE TRUE VINE-Jn 15:1.
I AM THE LIVING BREAD-Jn 6:31.

Explaining the seven important points concerning the title Son of God

Explaining the seven important points concerning the title Son of God

1. The title “son(s) of God” has more then one meaning and application in the Bible, as it has been said before on this blog and elsewhere words take on meaning in a context. Looking a word up in a dictionary and picking the meaning that fits your argument doesn’t tell you how the author used the word, or what the author intended, or how the original readers of the text would have understood it.

2. The title “son(s) of God is used for angels ” Now there was a day when the sons of Godcame to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came among them.” Job 1:6

3. The title “son(s) of God” is sometimes used in a manner bible commentators differ over because the context is not clear to them, the most famous example being “that the sons ofGod saw that the daughters of men were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves, whomever they chose.” Genesis 6:2

4. The title “son(s) of God is used for God’s redeemed saved by grace through faith in Christ(Christians) “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name ” John 1:12

5. The title “son of God” or as some translations capitalize “Son of God” is used as a specific title of the Messiah “He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”, Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” ” Matthew 16:15-16

6. Angels are not “son(s) of God” in the same manner as believers, believers are not “son(s) of God in the same manner as angels, angels and believers are not “son(s) of God in the same exact manner as those who married the daughters of men in Genesis, and none of the previous are “son(s)s of God” in the same manner as the Messiah. And how do we know this? The context of the passages are different which tells us the term in each case is being used differently.

7. The title “son of God” with regards to the Messiah is used differently then it is used elsewhere in the bible. For example look closely at Matthew 16:15-16 ” But who do you say that I am?”, Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” The wider context of the dialogue between Christ and Peter is within a chapter where Christ earlier had an encounter with the Pharisees and Sadducees who rejected him and where demanding a sign. The central theme of the chapter is who is this Jesus? In fact this is all taking places in the midst of a series of encounters with the Jews, where they are constantly questioning him and he is telling them as well as showing and proving who he is.

Earlier in another encounter Christ says “Every plant which My heavenly Father did not plant shall be uprooted.” Matt 15:13, calling God Father was common among the Jews but the context shows Jesus is using the term in a unique manner for himself..God’s Fatherhood as applied to him is different then the Jews in general. He go’s on later to perform signs and wonders that confirm what he has said about himself. Now in the beginning of chapter 16 he runs into another group of Jews who are demanding he perform a sign, since he has already performed public of signs and wonders all over Israel this just shows they really reject him..and he exposes this. Jesus after this debate warns his disciples beware of the “leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees ” which is interpreted in verse 12 as their teachings, the obviously problem with their teaching being they reject the Christ.

Later as they continue to travel Christ decides to question his disciples and asks “Who do people say that the Son of Man is” to the astute Bible student “Son of Man” itself is a title for the Divine Messiah see Daniel 7:13-14. The disciples give some of the common things being said about Jesus in Israel. Then Jesus asks “But who do you say that I am?”, Peter answered “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God”, Jesus not only affirmed his answer but said it was divine revelation from his Father confirming he was exactly who Peter just said he was. We gather from this exchange that to be Christ or Messiah is to be the Son of God not simply a son of God, which tells us Christ is Son of God in a unique manner different from anything else called son of God. Notice in verse 17 Christ says again just like in chapter 15, that God is his Father clearly in a way different then all others.

In verse 27 before the close of the chapter Christ affirms he is that “Son of Man” who will come in the glory of God the Father and he will be the presiding judge at the end of time just as Daniel(Daniel 7:13-14) predicted. And what did Daniel say about the “Son of Man” he said “He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all nations and peoples of every language worshiped him” this is all by the approval of the Father God.  So who among the angels and men called “sons of god” is ever spoken of in this manner anywhere else in the Bible? Intelligent people can clearly see from this one example out of many others that Christ is not “a” son of God, Christ is “thy” Son of God in a manner that denotes the nature of his sonship is divine.

Jesus is God

Jesus is God in the Flesh, thus if we take the logical conclusion it can be said Jesus created all things. But, this is where the error starts, because Jesus is NOT a seperate being from God and thus did not create anything accept AS God.Image
