Original Sin

Eve committed the “original sin”, disobeying God to eat of the Tree of Knowledge. Then Adam followed her into sin by also eating of the Tree.

The false doctrine that by these sins, all mankind are born into sin is preached by the majority of Christian denominations.

Yes, we are born with a sinful, rebellious nature, but we are NOT held accountable for “original sin”, but only for those we commit. The Bible clearly states not to hold a person guilty for the sins of the father, and this follows that we are not held responsible for the sins of the original parents as well.
